Pepo Farms is a family owned and operated company with all profits retained and used for continual growth and improvement. We are the first and only producers of pumpkin seeds in Australia and are proud to be a farm to plate company that produces pumpkin seeds for eating and a range of other seeds, nuts, oils and flours.  
We practice sustainable farming using organic and biodynamic practices ensuring we are good custodians of the soil. This involves our team working with our agronomist to constantly look for natural ways to enrich the soil. The use of cover crops and other means such as carbon capture allow us to go beyond simply not using any herbicides or pesticides. 

We take great pride in bringing to market healthy, nutritious products for all to enjoy.

We work directly with the farmers, they grow for us and we have provided them with a means, they are part of our family. At Pepo Farms, we are building a family farming company. We hope to build the future of growing food in Australia.

Our commitment is to develop a pumpkin seed industry in Australia so that Australian consumers have the choice to buy locally grown, fresh Australian products. Developing the export market is a high priority as it will ensure greater volume, lower costs and a sustainable, profitable crop for local farmers.  

Our Intention is to inspire people to feel good by supporting their physical/mental health & quality of life with excellent, naturally produced food, with a focus on disease prevention.

Australia's only growers of Pumpkins for their seeds, cold pressed oils and plant based flours. 

How we do what we do is what sets us apart from the rest. As a family, we share over seven generations of smallgoods and butchery tradition, skill and knowledge. It’s in our blood. 

It starts with the best quality ingredients. We source meat from some of Australia’s best producers, who rear their animals to be the best in their category. We have a close relationship with the farmer or producer of each and every piece of produce that comes into the shop. 

The product curing process and production is natural without the use of starches, additives, phosphates or preservatives. This natural approach relies on bacteria to do their job in converting nitrates to nitrite, improving flavour, increasing acidity and mould growth (white moulds on the outer casing).

All of our Salumi is made with Bangalow Sweet Pork from Byron Bay with a base of crushed black pepper and Sicilian Sea Salt.

Our retail butchery, cafe & flagship store is located in Kogarah whilst all our Salumi is produced at our Kingsgrove Salumeria by our Family. 

Like in Italy, everything is available for sampling. We’re talking exceptional handmade produce that’s made the real way as Pino describes it ready for you to enjoy.

Our Kogarah store sells over 100 types of handmade Italian sausages and salumi, plus cuts of meat that are exclusive to our butchery. 

‘Prickle Hill’ is situated on a sand hill 15ks South West of Coleambally NSW. The 40ha Property is planted to Sugar Plums for the fresh and dried fruit (Prunes) markets. In 2012, 2.5 ha of Jujubes (Chinese Red Dates) were planted, with the remaining 8ha planted under a Biodiversity Incentive Plan, encouraging the long-term survival of native flora and fauna.

Prickle Hill Produce is Owned and operated by Roy and Judy Duffell. Roy is a third-generation prune grower. In 1920, his grandfather, William Duffell, established a fruit orchard at Yenda in the MIA. William was known as ‘the fruit salad king’, famous for his nectarines. Roy’s father, John Duffell, carried on the tradition and went on to grow peaches, apricots, oranges, grapes and sugar plums.

In 1993 Roy purchased and developed a Prune orchard in the sandy loam soils at Coleambally. Since then, he has been involved in the research and development of growing different varieties of prune clones for the advancement of the Australian Prune Industry (IPA).

Roy’s son, James John Duffell, has returned to the farm, as the fourth generation. James divides his time between the farm, and you can find him showcasing the farm produce at Farmers Markets in and around Sydney. James shares his father’s commitment to organic and natural farming practices, and above all to quality. Working together, father and son are diversifying the produce now grown on the farm. Prickle Hill now grows oranges, quinces, figs, plums, peaches, jujubes, lemons, loquats, olives and apricots. Fresh, preserved, or dried- Roy and James are committed to getting this wonderful produce from the farm to your table in the highest possible quality.

Provenir beef is truly unique and is the result of a vision shared by its founders, who include a chef, a farmer, and a vet.
 
It was their collective concern for animal welfare, and a passion to produce the highest quality meat with true provenance that led the founders of Provenir to launch an exciting new category of meat.
 
Their vision has been realised through the development of a mobile on-farm abattoir, enabling Provenir to eliminate stress to animals associated with live animal transport, and process cattle at the point of production, on the farm on which they are raised.
 
By processing on-farm Provenir capture the value, quality, and true provenance of the beef our farmers produce.
 
Provenir is the first and only commercially licensed mobile on-farm abattoir operating in Australia. Partnering with select farmers raising top quality, grass-fed cattle in Southern NSW, Provenir processes a range of breeds, including Hereford, Angus, and Speckled Park.

Animal stress can have a direct negative effect on meat quality – to the founders of Provenir the solution was obvious, eliminate live transport to abattoirs by bringing the abattoir to the farm.

The Provenir process is not only better for animal welfare it is better for meat quality too.
 
Just two months following the launch of Provenir our beef was awarded a Gold Medal and Best in Class at the prestigious 2019 Australian Food Awards in the Branded Beef category. Judged by a panel of industry experts the awards provide validation and confirmation of what the founders always believed to be true; that their unique on-farm process is not only good for animal welfare, it also produces exceptional, premium quality beef - juicy, tender and tasty!
 
More recently Provenir was the winner of the 2020 delicious. Produce Award for Outstanding Innovation, Sustainability, and Community, an award which perfectly reflects Provenir’s vision to diversify the red meat industry with our innovative on-farm processing, to be environmentally conscious, and to support regenerative farming practices.  Together, we are building a community of conscientious consumers and farmers who share a vision for the highest animal welfare practices and the celebration of true provenance.

Pyewackets Traditional is an artisan producer based in Northern NSW specialising in shrubs, herbal tonics and traditional aromatic bitters formulated to be functional and delicious.

Shrubs are botanical cordials used to make alcohol free spritzers - just add sparkling water. “Shrub” is the old fashioned name for a fruit and herb preserve which is fermented in vinegar. Our shrubs are made of local seasonal fresh fruit, herbs and spices that are macerated and fermented in organic apple cider vinegar. 

Our tonics are traditional herbal remedies naturopathically formulated to be delicious as well as support your immune system, your digestive system or your adrenal system.
